    Product Description

Citric acid is an organic acid produced naturally in the body during the Kreb’s cycle production of ATP. Since citrate is essential for energy production and many people who are anemic suffer from low energy, Iron Citrate provides an attractive choice for the practitioner. Supplementation of
iron to increase red blood cell counts and replace iron stores (determined by serum ferritin levels) typically requires 60-100 mg iron daily for 3-6 months.
