Beta carotene is a precursor to vitamin A. It supports the body's defense system, enhances visual acuity, and quenches free radicals.

Beta carotene's powerful antioxidant potential supports healthy tissues and DNA integrity. It is virtually nontoxic; the body converts beta carotene to vitamin A as needed.

Beta carotene is one of the major dietary antioxidants, offering the body optimal nutritional support through free radical scavenger activity and provitamin A activity.

Mixed carotenoids (Betatene®)
   naturally derived from D. salina)
 25,000 IU
   providing:  
   beta carotene 14,280 mcg
   alpha carotene 450 mcg
   zeaxanthin 90 mcg
   cryptoxanthin 110 mcg
   lutein 70 mcg

Other Ingredients: carob (to darken capsules), soybean oil, gelatin capsule.

2-4 capsules per day, in divided doses, with meals.
