If you are not serious about working out and building muscle do not buy this product. I'm currently starting my second 12 pound bag and i have gained four pounds. I am going to point out a few things you should know about this product as well a give a few tips on this product. 1) The serving size is HUMONGOUS. I divide it into two servings. I take one in the morning or afternoon and the other half of the serving in the evening. You HAVE to use a blender. This will not mix well in a shaker bottle, because the shaker bottle is simply not big enough. 2) 1250 Calories per serving. Once again taking half a serving, 625 calories, makes it more manageable and you will feel less bloated. I also add a half a cup of oat to add another 120 calories. I always mix it with milk to add about another 150 or 300 calories depending if I am using whole milk or fat-free slim milk. 3) 252 Grams of carbs per serving. Basically, to make it simple, if you are not working out while taking this product you will get fat. 4) 50 Grams of protein. This is adequate enough. Protein helps rebuild muscle. Adding it with milk will add more protein. 5) My favorite flavor: Double Chocolate. It will eventually grow on you and will taste better after a while. 6) In order for this product to work you have to add this on to your normal diet. That is why it is called a supplement. It is used to supplement your diet. Eat what you normally eat with no changes, unless of course you are making it a cleaner diet, and this product will be golden for you. Optimum Nutrition is in my opinion the best company out there. They make their own protein and products in their own factories and warehouses. Other supplement companies will have their products and protein imported from third-world countries, to maximize their profits, and put their label on it. You are getting an extremely high quality product. Think about it. Would you rather pump gas from ARCO or Chevron into a Corvette? It should be the same way with your body. Go the extra mile and pay those few extra dollars for this product.
