Having only sampled Muscle Milk a couple times in the past, was pleased to receive an entire tub to see what I thought. Thanks Good: Protein blend; with MPI and casein leading the formula then WPC third. Normally most companies will front load a blend with the cheaper proteins, such as WPC, color me impressed. Also a fan of how much thicker multi blends are than straight Whey blends. 25g protein per scoop, just 2.5g fat. Mixes great, no powder clumps. 1 scoop: ~8 oz water and it was a slightly thinner than cake batter thickness, which I enjoyed. Also good to see is that the tub is actually the size of how much powder is inside, not like a bag of chips (or other 2lb protein tubs) where half of it is air. Not as Good: Vanilla flavor, not the best but def not the worst vanilla flavor I’ve had. In water it actually made me think of what a sugar free/less white cake batter would taste like, so that was decent...however I thought it would be substantially better in milk but was just alright. Bad: 9g carbs per scoop, yikes, that’s a lot, although it lists only 1g of that being sugar, it doesn’t list any fiber, so I assume those other 8g carbs are coming from the maltodextrin. Also disappointed to see the paragraph of listed ingredients of unpronounceable items. Overall: For me, the good outweighs the not so good/bad, so provided the price was right, I would pick some Muscle Milk Pro 50 up, but just perhaps try a different flavor.
